Welcome! Thank you so much for checking out my photography! My name is Kaitlynn Hunker, and I am a Los Angeles-based, traveling dance photographer. I grew up dancing in a barn turned dance studio in small town Ohio before continuing my passion teaching tap, jazz, ballet, and acro at a studio in Columbus while attending college.

My dance photography journey started as an impromptu trip into the wilderness with a crew of students to give some dance moms a little reprieve on their weekend. It ended up being the most fun and inspiring trip that I will forever cherish as it sparked a change in course that has allowed me to continue my passion for dance through photography.

Because I grew up dancing competitively and continued dancing through club programs in college while also teaching dance and acro, I have the skills to coach dancers into achieving their most technically executed movements. I also pride myself in the details of my art including angles, composition, and styling aesthetics to create the most beautiful magic with each dancer.

My goal is to use my passion to uplift, inspire, and empower dancers to believe in the brilliant artists and athletes they’ve worked so hard to become.
